Mange Management Inc. have been successful in gaining APVMA (Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicine Association) approval to use Cydectin (pour on) to treat free living wombats with mange. This is a huge break through in the treatment of mange in wombats and a big step towards achieving a positive outcome for our wombats with mange.
New cases of wombats with mange are being reported to Mange Management every day. This is just a small section of the wombats that are being seen and treated by members of the public. We encourage you to get in touch with us so we can assist with advice and support.
The Mange Management group is always keen to hear how your wombat is recovering, so why not send us an email and if you have any photos these are always appreciated. Information collected is invaluable to improving our program.
